Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa (YCAB) is the founding organization as well as the flagship organization within the YCAB Social Enterprise Group entity. The entity includes several non-profit groups that offer products and services, including micro-finance. They are driven by the mission to empower low-income women entrepreneurs who have children, throughout their school years.

YCAB for the past 20 years in Indonesia has focused on the education sector and community empowerment. Over time, YCAB has been running various programs to strengthen the role of women in microeconomic issues & literacy.
Why do they work on women’s and community empowerment issues?
YCAB has a mission to empower underprivileged youth groups to become more independent through economic empowerment and education. The big goal is aimed at bringing them sustainable livelihoods. YCAB believes in the power of education to improve welfare.
What kind of programs do they run?
YCAB has two major programs that are run constantly; The Learning Center and Microfinance. The Learning Center focuses on basic education equivalency and skill-building courses. Beneficiaries receive lessons in Basic Mathematics, English, Geography, and Science. YCAB’s vocational courses are tailored to the needs of the related service industry such as; beauty, motorbike mechanic, electronics workshop, machine sewing skills, and batik crafts. Meanwhile, at Microfinance, YCAB Ventures runs microfinance activities targeted at women entrepreneurs in low-income families.
